Acrylic on Leaves
 
In Greek mythology the Cumaean Sibyl was a prophetess who wrote her prophecies on leaves, and they were scattered to the wind. The motif of scattered leaves has been used in literature for centuries. In The Divine Comedy, Dante wrote about all knowledge in the universe that was scattered on leaves being bound in heaven.
My college experience has been a process of gathering scattered leaves- little pieces of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. I have tried to depict some of those fragments in these leaves.
